Our Aquacoat® family of water-insoluble polymer barriers are ideal for targeted drug delivery.

Aquacoat® ECD is an aqueous dispersion of ethylcellulose enabling drug diffusion across water-insoluble membranes in sustained-release barrier or slow-release pharmaceutical coating, moisture barrier and taste-masking applications. It offers a stable, reproducible, and pH-independent release profile.

Aquacoat® CPD is an aqueous dispersion of cellulose acetate phthalate used for enteric release applications. Intact at pH 6 and below, it resists dissolution in acidic conditions, protecting active ingredients in the gastric environment.
